Transitioning from PlacePay, you may be wondering, is my data and privacy still safe and secure? Yes! We use similiar fraud protection technologies and practices as major banks, just as PlacePay did. This includes industry standard TLS 1.2 with 2048-bit encryption to transmit information. Payment data is stored on PCI compliant services such as Authorize.net, one of the largest payment processors in the world. The entire application is in a secure server in an SOC2 compliant data center behind a firewall.
