If you’re enrolled in Credit Reporting, there could be cases where you might want to dispute a payment that’s reported as missing or late.

For example, let’s say you’ve moved out of your old apartment, but your landlord or property manager didn’t expire your lease in Innago. You have an invoice in your account that has been overdue for 30+ days, and now you’re seeing it reported on your credit. No worries! In many cases, we can simply adjust the reporting:

1.) If you have invoices that you were not responsible for after moving out, you can contact us and we will remove these late payments from your reporting history.

2.) If there’s invoices that you were responsible for, and you’ve made payments outside of Innago (check, money order etc.) that your landlord or property manager failed to record, we can update your invoice and payment report with their cooperation.

For scenario #2, if you’re unable to get in contact with your landlord or property manager to correct your invoices, you can file a dispute directly with the credit bureaus where your payments are reported. Please see the links below that provide information on how to file disputes:
