If your landlord has initiated a damage report for your rental, you can easily complete it by following the steps below:

1. Click the “Complete Now” button located near the top of your Dashboard as soon as you login.

2. A new side-pane will open up on the right side of the screen. Feel free to review the slideshow, then click “Get Started” once you’re ready.

3. If you have nothing to report, click “No Damage to Report”. Otherwise, click “Add Item” to get started.

4. You’ll start to report each damage item by entering in the location where it occured. For example, if there’s a broken window in the living room, you’ll type “Living Room” as the location. From there, you’ll input the item that had damage (“Window”), and select the condition of the item from the dropdown menu. You can add any additional details in the Description field, and you’ll have an option to upload a photo as well.

If you have more items to report in this same location, click “Add another item to this location”. If you have more items to report in a different location of the rental, click “Add Location” near the top-right corner. If you’re all done, click the “Next” button.

5. On the next screen, you’ll be shown a summary of all the items you’ve reported. You can still add additional items and locations etc. from this screen. If you’d like to finish the report later, click “Save as Draft”. If you’re ready to move forward, click “Proceed”.

6. You’ll have an opportunity to leave any comments you’d like the landlord to see before being shown a disclaimer. After you’ve read the disclaimer, click “Complete” to finalize the report.

7. Now that you’ve completed the report, your last step will be to sign off on it. Click “Sign Now” on your Dashboard.

Once you’ve finished signing, that’s it! You’re all done. You can always view your report later by visiting your Leases and Files page.
