As a landlord or sub-user, there are certain system notifications that will be sent out to alert you to different updates in your account. Here is a full list of which notifications you and your sub-users can expect to receive. Please note: if a sub-user has not verified their account, they will not receive any notifications.

*signifies sub-users will also receive these notifications if sub-user has access to the tab

† signifies that an SMS notification will also be generated, in addition to the email

Account notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Landlord has signed up into the system
  • Sub-user has been added by the landlord
  • Phone number that receives 2FA was changed
  • Account email or phone number are changed (old email address will receive an email as well, confirming account changed)
  • OTP is sent for account updates or bank additions†* (only text message, no email)

Bank notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Micro deposits are deposited into the bank account*
    Reminder to verify micro deposit values in bank settings*
  • Micro deposits failed due to too many incorrect attempts*
  • Bank account is not assigned to a new property*
  • Bank account is not assigned to property and funds are waiting to be disbursed*
  • Sub-user added a bank account and the landlord needs to approve it†
  • Assign bank account setting has been updated for any property/property unit†

Lease notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Lease is signed by a tenant*
  • Lease is expiring soon*
  • Lease is going to expire in _ number of days* (the number of days can be customized in Settings)
  • Damage report is submitted
  • Damage report for a lease is ready for signature†

Payment notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Tenant has made an online payment*
  • A disbursement has been processed to the landlord’s account
  • Credit card payment is successful*
  • A tenant’s payment fails/is rejected*
  • A tenant’s payment is cancelled by the tenant*
  • A deposit will be reversed from a landlord’s account*
  • Payment has been reversed from a landlord’s account*
  • A tenant resubmits a previously failed/rejected payment*
  • Overdue Invoices of current and future lease*
  • Tenant is at risk of ACH deactivation*
  • Tenant ACH has been deactivated*

Security Deposit notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Deposit return has been initiated
  • Deposit return failed or is cancelled due to bank account failed
  • A tenant has received deposit return funds
  • Deposit return failed and reversed*
  • Unable to deliver deposit return due to tenant not selecting return location
  • Deposit return is cancelled by landlord or subuser
  • Deposit return is refunded to landlord bank account

Messaging notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • You have unread messages on Innago
  • User has subscribed to Innago SMS messages*†
  • User has unsubscribed from SMS messages from Innago*†
  • User has received a new chat message*†

Maintenance notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • A tenant submits a maintenance request*
  • A tenant re-opens a maintenance request*
  • A tenant marks a maintenance request as resolved*
  • A tenant adds a Comment on maintenance request*
  • A scheduled recurring maintenance is coming up*

Application notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • An application is sent out directly from innago.com
  • Applicant successfully makes a payment on the application*
  • Applicant has completed an application, and it is ready to be reviewed*

Listing notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • OTP over call or text for publishing a listing on partner sites*†

Renter’s Insurance notifications will be sent to landlords when:

  • Insurance is uploaded by the tenant and it is required to be verified before tenant can take any action
  • Tenant has replaced renter’s insurance document*
  • Renter’s insurance was cancelled by tenant*
