If Partial Payments are turned ‘Off’ for a lease, tenants will be permitted to pay the entire invoice amount only. A grouped invoice that is shared by multiple tenants will only allow a single, full payment.
You can decide whether or not you want to accept partial payments. This can be set for all leases by default and on a lease-by-lease basis.
Default Settings:
1. At the bottom of the Innago menu, click ‘Settings’ (the gear icon).
2. From the General Settings menu, toggle ‘Accept Partial Payments’ option to the ‘On’ or ‘Off’ position depending on your preferences.
3. Click ‘Save Settings’ when finished.
Lease Settings:
1. From the Innago menu on the left, click ‘Properties’.
2. Select the property, then select the unit for whom you'd like to enable partial payments.
3. Click ‘Edit Tenants’ (you may need to minimize this help wizard to see the ‘Edit Tenants’ button)
4. Toggle the ‘Partial Payment’ setting to the ‘On’ or ‘Off’ position depending on your preferences.
More About This Feature:
When Partial Payments are turned off, tenants will only be permitted to pay the entire invoice amount due only. A grouped invoice that is shared by multiple tenants will only allow a single, full payment.
The setting within the lease terms will override the general partial payment setting.
For example, if partial payments are enabled within Settings, but are disabled within the lease terms, tenants will not be able to make partial payments. If partial payments are disabled within Settings, but are enabled within the lease terms, the tenant will still be able to make partial payments.
