If you are seeing the ‘email already exists’ error message when trying to add your tenant to a lease in Innago, it’s most likely that the tenant mistakenly signed up for a landlord Innago account with that email address.
In Innago, an email address can only be associated with a single account type (i.e., Landlord or Tenant). So, if your tenant has created a landlord account, you will receive this error message. Please reach out to support@innago.com for further assistance to get things switched around for your tenant.
