Innago has integrated with TransUnion for tenant Credit, Criminal, and Background screening. You may be wondering how long it will take from the moment you send an application out to a prospective tenant, to the moment the screening reports are delivered.

Typically reports are returned to you within an hour of the applicant submitting their application! Whenever there is a delay, TransUnion has this to say:

On average we are seeing 90% of records returned within an hour, 7% within 24 hours, and 2% within 48 hours – 1% of records can take up to 5 days if a record from a courthouse is within a jurisdiction that has slow turnaround times for records requests. To ensure the highest quality data available, TransUnion will actually send out a runner to a courthouse to reverify a record when necessary!

When a report is taking longer than 72 hours, you may contact TransUnion customer service at 1-833-458-6338, where all calls are logged, and they can investigate and advise accordingly.

Please note that since the courts are not open on weekends and holidays that will impact the timeline of getting reports back as well.
