If you need instructions on using our Instant Onboarding feature, click here. If you’re already familiar with the tool, you may be having some our most frequently asked questions:
What file types can I upload?
PDF, CSV, XLSX, XLS, JPG, PNG, or TXT — lease agreements, rent rolls, or spreadsheets. Several files can be uploaded at once.
Can I upload a rent roll AND separate lease PDFs together?
Yes. The AI links related files and merges them into a single portfolio.
How large can my files be?
About 150MB total per upload, and up to roughly 20 files at once. Very large portfolios can be split into multiple uploads.
What if I don’t have any documents to upload?
The “Enter manually” option lets a customer type properties in directly; it skips the upload step.
Will the AI get everything right?
The AI will flag fields it couldn’t fill, and intentionally skips expired or terminated leases (you can only upload current and future lease terms). You’ll be able to review key details and confirm them before finishing the upload.
It found fewer properties than expected. Why is that?
The “expected” number is an estimate based on the file’s layout — repeated or summary rows can inflate it. If the properties shown match what the customer owns, they can continue. If rows really are missing, re-uploading or adding them manually fixes it.
Why do some rents or dates look wrong?
Open the property to expand it and edit any field directly. Everything imported is editable.
What’s the difference between the red and amber items?
Red items are required and must be fixed to continue. Amber items are optional suggestions (like a missing tenant email) that can be skipped and added later.
If I refresh or close the tab, do I lose my work?
No. Progress is saved in the browser and a “Resume where you left off?” option appears on return. It should be finished on the same browser and within a reasonable time however, since this data will not be permanently saved.
Is my document data safe?
Documents are used only to extract portfolio data and aren’t shared. If you ‘d like more information, please review our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
