Landlords using Innago are subject to a weekly limit on the amount that can be returned to tenants through the platform. The standard limit is ten thousand dollars per week. Once this amount has been reached no additional security deposit returns can be processed until the weekly cycle refreshes.

If you have reached this threshold you will see that additional returns cannot be completed at this time.

Increasing the Weekly Limit

Our payment processor can raise the weekly return limit from ten thousand dollars to an unlimited amount. To complete this update an authorization form must be submitted by the landlord or management company. If this form has already been provided the request is being reviewed. These updates usually take a few weeks to finalize.

What You Can Do In The Meantime

Until the limit increase is approved there are two approaches available.

Option one

Try processing the security deposit return in Innago once per day. As soon as the weekly limit resets your return should process normally.

Option two

Send the security deposit return by paper check to the appropriate forwarding address. If you choose this approach speak with the appropriate team member who handles payments since they can confirm the address and guide you through the process.
