Screening Reports from the Credit Bureau Experian Expire After 30 Days
Why Reports Expire
For compliance reasons set by the Credit Bureau Experian, all background screening reports are only valid for 30 days. After this period, they automatically expire and cannot be accessed again. This isn’t something we can override — it’s a legal requirement designed to keep applicant data accurate and secure.
If for some reason, you believe you’ll need copies of applicant screening reports saved for your records longer than 30 days you can always download the provided copies of the screening reports before they expire!
Of course, we always recommend checking your local laws and regulations regarding tenant screening before doing so.
