Whenever you add a new debit card or a credit card to Innago, we process a temporary authorization to ensure that the card is valid. This authorization serves as verification that we can process larger amounts in the future. We use multiple payment gateway providers, so the hold can either be $0.01 or $1 depending on your account set up. These charges will typically drop off within 24-48 hours.
Please note, if you’re also in the process of adding a bank account via microdeposits, those will be two completely separate charges of less than 10 cents. The authorization hold for cards is not associated with your direct bank account verification.
