While you can't send multiple templates in one lease package, you can send out the documents in a slightly different way, by sending them back-to-back so you are almost sending them all at once.

If you send a lease document during the add tenant process, that document will need to be signed by all parties before you can send any additional documents from the Leases & Files page. The alternative to this is to skip sending the lease during when you are adding your tenants, and simply send everything from the Leases & Files page all at once.

The only difference in this is that if you skip sending the lease during the add tenants process, and instead send it from the Leases & Files page, there will not be the blocker in place that prevents tenants from viewing paying any invoices before the lease is signed by all parties.

Here are the instructions on sending out documents from the Leases & Files page, after you’ve added your leases and tenants to Innago and selected the “I don’t need to sign a lease through Innago” option during this process. You can follow the steps to send out multiple documents (including the lease) one right after the other:

To send an additional document for signing:

1. Before you start, make sure you have a digital copy of the document you want signed.

2. From the Innago menu on the left, click ‘Leases & Files.’

3. Then select the unit for which you’d like to sign a document (remember to use the filters if you can’t find it easily).

4. Under ‘Open Documents,’ click on ‘Sign a Document.’ Note: you will be able to see this option only if you have entered a valid email address for your tenant.

5. Select the tenants that need to sign this document.

6. Next, select a template from the list or click ‘Create New Template.’

A. If you select a template:

i. Click ‘Edit and Issue.’

ii. Click ‘Fill and Send’ to review your template and make any last-minute changes if necessary. Click 'Next’ to proceed.

iii. Click ‘Finalize and Send’ to send this document for signing.

B. If you click ‘Create New Template’:

i. Set a template name, write a short description, and select a template type.

ii. Upload the document you wish to have signed. Innago only supports PDF file formats as it most effectively preserves your formatting.

iii. Go ahead and customize your Lease Template. (To learn more, search ‘How to Use Custom Fields to Build your Lease Template’).

iv. Click ‘Save’ once completed.

v. Select your newly created template from the list.

vi. Click ‘Edit and Issue.’

vii. Make any last-minute changes to your template if necessary. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.

viii. Select ‘Finalize and Send’ to send this document for signing.

You can track the status of a document that has been sent for signature from this page. Once fully signed, it will appear here.
