As a platform that supports payments, we take (and must take) data really seriously. We use industry standard TLS 1.2 with 2048-bit encryption to transmit information. Payment data is stored on PCI compliant services such as Authorize.net, one of the largest payment processors in the world. The entire application is in a secure server in an SOC2 compliant data center behind a firewall. We use bank level data encryption end-to-end. It’s impossible for any web based application to make 100% security guarantees, but we feel extremely confident that, to the best of our abilities to assess it, we’re on par with anything else you’d use to submit payments.
Additionally, we also use adaptive MFA sign-on features provided through Auth0. You can read more about these features here.
