Tenants can purchase renter’s insurance directly through Innago’s home page, or when they are logged into an existing Innago account.

Purchasing Renter’s Insurance

From the Innago home page:

  1. Tenants will go to Innago.com and click “Features” tab of the main menu at the top of the screen. They’ll select the “Tenant” tab then click “Renter’s Insurance”.

  2. From here, Tenants will be redirected to Landing Page where they can click

“Get a Quote” to buy Renter’s Insurance from Sure, our referral partner. For more information on Sure’s policies and coverages, please visit their website here.

  3. Tenants will be asked whether or not they have an existing Innago account from here. If they select “Yes”, they will be redirected to the Innago login screen to complete the process from within their account. If they select “No”, the user will be asked a set of questions to purchase direct renter’s insurance from Sure.

  4. Once insurance has been purchased, tenants will see a confirmation page, and details will also be e-mailed to them.

From the Tenant’s Account:

  1. Once tenants are logged in, they will see a section of their Dashboard that says “Get Renter’s Insurance Today”. They will click “Get a Quote” to proceed.

  2. Tenants will then have the option to either upload proof of previously purchased renter’s insurance, or or continue with applying for Sure coverage by clicking “Get Insurance”.

  3. If tenants choose to apply for insurance, they will be asked a set of questions in order for Sure to provide a quote.

  4. Once insurance has been purchased, tenants will see a confirmation page, and details will also be e-mailed to them.

Uploading Proof of Renter’s Insurance

Tenants will need to be logged into their Innago account to upload proof of previously purchased renter’s insurance.

  1. Once tenants are logged in, they will see a section of their Dashboard that says “Get Renter’s Insurance Today”. They will click “Get a Quote” to proceed.

  2. Tenants will then have the option to upload their policy document or declaration of insurance as a .pdf, .docx, or .doc file.

Once insurance is purchased or proof of insurance is uploaded, you’ll be able to view and verify their documentation from within your Innago account. For more information on how to view and verify renter’s insurance documents, please click here.
